Living Anticipating Christ

Revelation 21:4  "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

What a glorious time to look forward to!  My grandma was a wonderful woman.  She often talked about this verse.  She went to be with Jesus almost six years ago.  Her anticipation, excitement, and joy in going to meet her Maker face to face was so evident.

Her favorite song was 'In The Garden':

I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses,
And the voice I hear falling on my ear,
The Son of God discloses . . .

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own,
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other, has ever, known!

He speaks and the sound of His voice,
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that he gave to me,
Within my heart is ringing . . .

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own,
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other, has ever, known!

And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other, has ever, known!

We are told in the book of John that Jesus is preparing a place for us.  It's going to be a place like none other.  To see the Lord and to commune with Him is hard to imagine, but I can not wait!

This time on earth is but a blink of an eye.  Am I living every possible moment for HIS glory???  Am I offering the very least that I can possibly offer - to love Him completely and wholeheartedly?  Is my life laid down and surrendered to Him?

Matthew 22:37  "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind."

Romans 6:13
"Do not offer the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness."
